According to Environment Minister Bill Marmion, in an announcement so new there’s nothing online about it as I write this, Opposition Leader Mark McGowan has pledged to close the Regional Resource Recovery Centre.

Interestingly, as Minister Marmion rushed to condemn what he says is a new policy for Labor, his media release appears to reveal that closure of the RRRC was never an option under the Barnett Government.
